Let Me Introduce Myself

Hi! My name is Jamie and I’ve been a photographer for as long as I can remember. My parents had a photography studio in the 1990s and I grew to love photography, music, and art in general. Primarily I’m an outdoor portrait photographer based in central Kansas but I also travel to surrounding communities and states. 

I’ve recently rebranded to Jamie Dawn Photography. Formerly, my business name was Indelible Impressions. I still love the idea of making indelible impressions – making impressions that are to not be forgotten. Photography is the art of capturing a moment in time – a memory, an event, a time in someone’ life, etc. Because of that, I truly put my all into creating beautiful images that are meaningful for my clients. Rebranding to Jamie Dawn Photography simplifies my purpose – it’s just me, my equipment, and a personal experience to create meaningful and beautiful images for my clients.

Just for fun, here are some random facts about myself:

• My husband and I are “high school sweethearts” and have been together for 18 years.
• I received a music scholarship for playing violin. I also played drums but have always wanted to take piano lessons.
• I have 3 tattoos. I have a few small ones that maybe I’ll get some day.
• I would love to have pink or purple hair but my office job probably wouldn’t approve of that.
• I love coffee. I love wine. I love crafting. I sing a lot (but mostly at home). I’m not a baker.
